HORSE AROUND DAY CAMP is now a specialized horsemanship camp for boys and girls ages 7 to 15. The Wingedspur Farm staff brings 35 years of horse experience and coaching to our program. Our “Team” consists of knowledgeable talented instructions who care and relate well to children. Our program goals are to teach the children the fundamentals of horses and develop riding and horsemanship techniques. Our fine facilities include an indoor arena, outside riding rings, miles of trails and over 40 horses to choose from. Our competent staff will ensure that every child is suited to a horse of his or her own riding level.

The cost of each weekly session is $300.00 per camper. Daily programs consist of riding lessons, grooming, tacking-up, demonstrations, class work, arts & crafts, movies, swimming, ball games, petting area, camp fires and much more. Most importantly the staff are dedicated to ensuring that each child has an incredible and rewarding summer camp experience. If a camper would like to bring a disposable camera with their name on it, a counselor would be happy to take pictures of them doing their activities. Each Friday a horse show is held for all campers, ribbons will be awarded. Parents and friends are invited to attend.

Campers should bring a boxed lunch, towel and bathing suit. Picnic tables are set up under big shady trees for a cool summertime setting. SNACK BAR IS AVAILABLE. Please Label All Belongings! Lost-n-found is held for one week only. Wingedspur Ranch is not responsible for lost, missed placed or stolen Items. NO JEWELRY SHOULD BE WORN TO CAMP.

A $150.00 deposit per week for each Day-Camper is required when making the application for enrollment. ☺BALANCE IS DUE TWO WEEKS PRIOR TO ATTENDING CAMP. Upon acceptance of enrollment the deposit becomes NON-REFUNDABLE, WITH NO EXCEPTIONS. Your canceled check is your confirmation, unless otherwise notified. Unmanageable campers will be asked to leave camp with no refunds for any remaining time.

The camp operates from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. daily. Children must be picked up at 4:00 p.m. because there will be no counselor on duty, unless After Camp Care has been arranged. Weekly sessions begin June 22 and continue through August 28. Early enrollment is necessary to ensure the week or weeks of your choice.

HORSE AROUND DAY CAMP is located at 24 Currier Road in Candia, NH on a 35 acre farm. We also offer boarding, leasing, training, and riding lessons for the serious horse person.
